With over two decades of experience, Dr. Poteet is a recognized leader in compounding pharmacy, specializing in sterile products, anti-aging therapies, and personalized medicine.
Education and Professional Background
Dr. Poteet graduated with Honors from Lee University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science. He went on to complete his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Mercer University Southern School of Pharmacy in 2004.
His professional career includes extensive experience at two of the Southeast’s most prestigious academic teaching hospitals:
- Emory University, Atlanta
- Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville
At these institutions, Dr. Poteet gained advanced training in sterile products compounding, solidifying his reputation for expertise and precision in creating custom medications.
In 2010, he returned to East Tennessee, where he served as Pharmacy Director at two sterile products pharmacies in Knoxville before joining The Compounding Pharmacy of America.
